Last week our first and second year Tourism students carried out an English guided tour in the old town of Trujillo as a practical part of our bilingual studies. They showed and explained historic and artistic aspects about the most important monuments in the city like the Main Square, Castle, Saint Mary Church, renaissance palaces, gates…. They also mentioned important conquerors such as Francisco Pizarro or Francisco de Orellana.
Moreover, there was a special “tourist” enjoying the tour. She is Sam, the language assistant teacher of the bilingual section.
We really enjoyed the tour, we learned important things about the history of Trujillo and mainly, we had a good time.
